Paper other than ILFORD?

topic posted Thu, July 12, 2007 - 12:22 PM by  Ivastar
I have been printing for a couple of years now, but I have never ventured to use non-ILFORD paper both because of the brand name and because that's all the local photo-shop sells. I know there are other papers out there that you can order online. What other papers have you used? Anything you would recommend? Anything cheaper than Ilford that still gives good results?

Thanks in advance!

I've been doing this since before you were born, and I remember having only fiber based papers of one grade. It sucked! I use Ilford because of the consistancy, and I love the tones of the paper. There are other papers, like oriental which is a good product. But I'll just stick to what works for me. What kind of film are you shooting?
